CHANGING OUR WORLD

Kate Golden is a Managing Director in the fundraising division of Changing Our World, where she has worked for the last ten years in roles of increasing responsibility. Along with leading feasibility studies, working with boards and recruiting volunteer leaders, and developing cultivation and solicitation strategies for major gift prospects, Kate has extensive experience in grant writing and case development. Her international development clients have included the United Nations Population Fund, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, and Synergos. She is currently working with Cordaid, a development agency headquartered in the Netherlands.

In addition to her responsibilities in the fundraising division, Kate also runs and manages Changing Our World’s BUZZ blog, a news and commentary blog that covers the latest stories and updates in the world of philanthropy.

Kate joined the company in September 2001, where she outsourced her fundraising skills to Saint Agnes Hospital and the Children’s Rehabilitation Center. Among the clients she has served in her time with Changing Our World are the NuHealth System, for which Kate created and helped to implement a comprehensive development infrastructure for an institution with no history of philanthropy; the Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund, which raised over $50 million for the development of a new museum and visitor center; and the Pontifical North American College, which successfully completed a $25 million capital improvement and endowment campaign.
